Capture data and store them in Airtable
Collect information from your users and store the responses in Airtable. Create forms to collect details from anonymous visitors or registered portal users.
Add a simple form
Open the block selection modal, go to the Forms section and select the Form block.
When the form is added to the page, hover over the block and click on Edit Form.
Select the Airtable base and table you want to store your data in.
After connecting your table, you can will be taken to the form editor. Click on Add Field to add your first form field.
Select the Airtable field you want to map the field to. You can also update the field label and validation rules here too. Drag and drop the fields on the editor to re-order them.
Customizing the submit button
Clicking on the submit button in the form editor will open up the submit settings. Select the Styles tab to see the available settings.
Group form fields
In your Pory forms, you have the option to group your fields, which can improve organization and user experience. Grouping fields helps create a logical flow, making forms easier to navigate and understand, especially for lengthy forms. It allows users to focus on related information at once, reducing overwhelm and guiding them smoothly through each section.”
Hover over any group and click the + button.
Once the gorup is added, click on Add Field to add a field to the group.

Linking a submission to a user
Create a form that will link the submissions to the user's Airtable record. This is useful when you want to collect user feedback, link job posts to users etc.
Open the block selection modal, go to the Forms section and select the Form block.
In the form set up, set Link submission to a user to Yes. Select the Airtable table where you want to store submissions and specify the field in the Airtable user table that will link to the new records.
